The first Football Fantime Player of the Year award has been presented to Glossop North End striker Darren Hamilton. He topped the listeners vote ahead of New Mills Carlos Meakin in second, and Terry Bowker of Buxton in third. Hamilton scooped the top prize after a string of votes from the fans he's played in front of for ten years. The first Football Fantime Player of the Year award is 11 inches tall, and made of crystal.

On the 4th April High Peak Radio celebrated its 4th birthday. The Breakfast Show with Leighton Morris was live at Carpet Creations in Chapel, Open Air with Jill Mckenzie was live at Alexanders in Buxton, Afternoon Show with Steve Jenner was live at Joe Barbers Bathrooms in Glossop and Drivetime with Helen Mason was live at Wright Hire, Glossop. It was a great day!
