Artist's impression of "Paul - After"...

(We think our Artist may have gone a bit over the top, because (a) Paul doesn't play 12" vinyls like this, and (b) he doesn't present naked - or so he says...)
The High Peak Radio Change for Life Promotion - with New Bodies Gym!
Hello, Paul Jenner here. I’d like to tell you how New Bodies Gym’s “Change for Life” promotion is really gathering pace. So far, it’s 2 down, 1 to go.
Personal fitness trainer Andy Lomax firstly developed my fitness to run the Buxton 5-Mile race. This work meant that, more recently, I was able to complete a Half Marathon in 2 hours 20 minutes - something I didn’t dare think I could still achieve. I’m now over a stone lighter and training for The Big One - the Paris Half Marathon in March - with the aim to be a further 2-stone lighter and substantially reduce my running time.
Check progress each Monday, Wednesday and Friday on High Peak Radio at around 11.45 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. In the meantime I’d better get the old, 32"-waist suit off to the cleaners for the After Race Party!
If you’d like to benefit from the skills of personal fitness trainer Andy Lomax, call 01298 72006 - and seize your chance to Change for Life too!
As you may have heard in the past, some of our presenters have taken on a bit of a fitness challenge. However, once the 5 or 6 weeks of the promotions are over, our team seems to slip back into bad old ways! Until now.
Following recent medical advice, our very own "vinyl years" presenter Paul Jenner has realised he's got to change a few things - not just for 5 or 6 weeks, but for life.
Enter New Bodies Gym, and personal trainer Andy Lomax.
He has taken Paul under his wing with the aim of helping Paul to achieve the results he both wants and needs - and not just for a few weeks, but a whole 9 months!!
Paul has been given a few ultimate targets, which will in themselves massively benefit his health and fitness. He aims to lose over 3 stone, run the Paris Half Marathon, and fit into his favourite suit that he hasn't worn for 18 years!! All this and he intends raising money for charity into the bargain.
Keep listening as the story unfolds - with regular updates on Damian's Open Air show and Helen's Late Drive.
It's the Change for Life Promotion - in conjunction with and sponsored by New Bodies Gym of Fairfield and New Mills.
